Normally love your podcasts. They help me sleep.
Tonight I listened to a downloaded one and fell asleep. Until tonight I would have given 5 stars. But this is bad. Saved episodes shouldn’t change.
Was woken up 43:00. With 2:05 left by an obnoxious casino ad. What the heck?! I can live w ads at the beginning. But waking me up after the story lulls me to sleep. Esp for an episode I have saved downloaded and listened to before and suddenly!!! There’s a wake up ad. Get this under control team. more
For example, I wanted to listen to “the shoemaker and the devil” but it played “the cat that walked by himself”. Also, when I played the actual “the shoemaker and the devil”, it had that A word in it! Also, in “the cat that walked by himself”, the description said “how the whale got their throat”. Also, why is “the little match girl so sad? Couldn’t fall asleep to that any day. All In all, it’s a great podcast, but it could use some changes. PS: LONGER EPISODES!!!!!!!!!!!

Sleepy Stories tends toward calming, bedtime storytelling drawn from folktales and world folklore, with host narration in soothing tones designed to ease listeners into relaxation or sleep. Episodes emphasize gentle moral lessons, cozy wonder, and mood-setting atmospherics, often blending fairy-tale motifs with meditative pacing. A standout trait is the focus on single-story formats read twice or with slowed narration to aid drowsiness, along with favorable reception for comforting voices, while mid-show or end-of-episode ads can be jarring for some listeners. The show appears to attract adults seeking unwinding content that blends culture-rich storytelling with sleep assistance and mindfulness elements, making it appealing for listeners wh... more
