LearnedLeague is such a specific sub-community that you’re almost surprised when you find a piece of media dedicated to it. This pod is one of my very favorites! I look forward to its return along with a new season of LL. And it helps that George and Amanda are very smart and very funny.
I can imagine how difficult it is to make a any podcast, and especially one targeted towards LLamas. I find it an invaluable resource for me; seeing how others approach the questions has made me a better trivia player.
As an aside, and as a Texan… Thank you so much for the respect you have shown after the recent tragedy in Uvalde. I’m happy I share the planet with folks like yourselves.
Esp because I don’t have trivia friends to chat about the season with. This is a lot of fun! Hasn’t helped me graduate out of D rundle though!
It’s becoming harder to listen to this podcast. The sound is so much lower than others, so you need to remember to turn the volume down after so you don’t blow your ears out with the next thing you listen to. And the groaning and grunting of the hosts seems to be getting worse as their season is off to a rocky start.
Learned Lag is fantastic for helping to show you helpful ways to think through questions and connect to what you already know. Also, the rules they use are very helpful. My stats have definitely improved since I started listening.
