  • Making yourself better

I had been pulling my hair out trying to get along with my 12 year old daughter who constantly rebelled about almost everything I tried to do with her. Every time I wanted to go hiking or try a new restaurant, it was a major drama. I finally told myself that I was going to be patient with her as this was a hard time to grow up. Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

351: Your Confidence Inventory
Q: Is there a point where I accept I'm not a confident person, given years of work without seeing changes?
Confidence isn't fixed. If your work has been mostly internal mindset work, shift toward external, observable reps and evidence, and identify where you've been thinking rather than doing so you can start the loop in that area.
351: Your Confidence Inventory
Q: If I'm confident in some areas but not others, how do I bring the confident version into every space?
You're not two different people; you need to build evidence in the new areas until the self-trust is available there too, using the same loop of action, evidence, and belief.
351: Your Confidence Inventory
Q: How do I stay confident in a male-dominated environment where my ideas aren't credited?
Confidence work here is for you, not to change the environment. name your contributions in the moment, build allies who echo you by name, and keep a record of your track record to reinforce your own belief in your value.
351: Your Confidence Inventory
Q: I've been doing the small kept promise practice and feel some shift, but self-doubt still feels loud on some days. Is that normal?
Yes, it's completely normal. A bad day doesn't erase the promises you kept or the evidence you've built; self-trust isn't linear, and you should go back to the evidence you recorded to remind yourself you can do it.
347: Protect the Work - Integration Session
Q: I'm leading a team and end up taking on work myself because it's faster. How do I stop this without dropping the ball?
Assign the work clearly, create success criteria, and discuss what 'done well' looks like. Build the conditions for your directs to handle tasks so you can focus on higher-leverage work.
