Really not a fan of the new hosts, should have rebranded… tone is nothing like what it was previously.
If you want negativity, cynicism, self deprecation, and condescension in a loose podcast format then you’ve found it. Makes me miserable listening to it, so I’m gonna stop.

A fantastic show unified by the brilliant Mike Fahey. By far the most original, unique and thoughtful gaming podcast currently available. Nathan and Ash will be missed, both were fantastic contributors. Alas, new co-hosts Ethan and Lisa seem equally brilliant.
Keep up the fantastic work Kotaku Splitscreen, it’s a delight and honour to listen.

Great chemistry, interesting topics, and a fun tone.
This podcast used to be great, and I continued listening with an open mind after the change in hosts. But unfortunately not really taken with the new version.
Maybe not everything needs to be discussed with a veneer of sarcasm, cynicism and/or attempts to sound cool or funny? It all just feels a bit too self-conscious.
