I like DB and The Mayor. I’ve met them both in person at the games, and they’re super friendly and will talk puck with anyone who approaches them. I think their analysis is fair, and delivered with good cheer, and as such, they're fine contributors to the hockey blogosphere.
I’m canceling my subscription because I’ve simply maxed out on my ability to tolerate Mayor’s refusal to learn how to properly pronounce the names of the people and places he’s talking about. It took me all of 10 seconds to... more
I am 60 years old and have followed the team for ages. I don’t care that the team is on the verge of playoffs as it will be trounced again. Team is poorly managed with an owner that over trusts Robataille, plays a style that is stuck in the early 90’s and, from what I can tell, does not come to correct conclusions on analytics. I disagree with your comment a few episodes ago that fans will continue to follow and watch this (bad) team. I stopped following and watching 30 games ago. And for the fi... more
These guys spend more time talking about themselves than they do the Kings. They have the most archaic, obnoxious and unoriginal opening theme song/old man screaming ever! Early last season one of the men in this podcast said “Akil Thomas would never be an NHL’er.” If you’re looking for a good Kings Podcast, go to All The Kings Men. Don’t waste your time with these fools.
Dennis - I’m a long time Kings fan trapped in Vancouver. How can I meet you at the game Monday night? What’s your email address? (I’m too old for social media).
If you love the Kings check this out in the summer for some exclusive interviews.

Two LA-based hockey insiders provide in-depth analysis on the NHL with a strong Kings focus. Episodes typically dissect rosters, coaching decisions, injuries, and prospect development, often pairing insider chatter with guest interviews and around-the-league context. The show blends sharp hockey strategy talk with fan-friendly storytelling, humor, and clear opinions, making it a go-to for listeners who want behind-the-scenes perspectives on team dynamics, trades, and market-driven headlines. A consistent edge is the hosts' long-form knowledge and access to industry sources, along with a willingness to challenge conventional thinking and offer candid takes.
