  • Keeps me informed on all EV News … with a sense of humor

Tesla dominates the EV market so it’s easy to overlook the plethora of options we have available to us. Bodie keeps us informed about all of them across the globe. He delivers the news with the most hilarious self-deprecation so it never gets dry or boring. His interview shows are fantastic, where he talks to people in alternative energy or policy making or even hosts of other EV shows. He can even make earnings calls interesting.

  • Meh

The first episode that I heard from this guy was the TSLA Q3 call, probably going to be the last.

The amount of non sensical questions and points of views that he comes up with…

  • I really like the fact that this host goes out of his way to just talk about the technology and leave politics out of it. As a member of the political party that EV enthusiasts usually dislike, I very much appreciate as a fan of this technology not feeling attacked every time I try to listen to a show about it. Keep up the good work.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Lucid Motor's Q1 2026 Earnings Call
Q: Are RoboTaxi deliveries to Uber dependent on Nuro achieving certification, or is there a fixed schedule for volume progression?
Deliveries are contingent on Nuro achieving final certification; there is not a fixed quarterly tranche, but progress on certification in California and other jurisdictions is critical to enabling the planned robotaxi deployments.
Lucid Motor's Q1 2026 Earnings Call
Q: Can you share any volume targets for M2 for 2027, and whether a better-than-expected launch could extend liquidity into 2028?
The targets for the M2 volume were guided previously and have not changed; the focus remains on the ramp in 2027 with liquidity considerations tied to that ramp, not a short-term acceleration beyond the planned schedule. Final SOP and ramp timing will be clarified after internal reviews with Silvio and the team by the end of Q2.
Ron Burch Chose a New Battery Over a New Model S
Q: Why did you decide to pursue a battery swap instead of buying a new car?
Ron explains the car was still in good shape, the battery degradation was manageable, and the swap would give him essentially a new battery with a warranty, improved charging, and more recent tech without the higher cost and uncertainty of a new car purchase.
Brian Makse Talks Leaf and EV4
Q: But where can people find you?
Brian answers that you can primarily find him on YouTube, with the same show also on the Bleeve Podcast Network, under the name Brian Makse, with spelling M-A-K-S-E.
Lucid Motors Q4 2025 Earnings Call
Q: What are the margin drivers for 2026 given ramp costs and commodity headwinds?
Gross margin is expected to improve in 2026 driven by higher volumes, improved fixed gross absorption, better ramp efficiency, reduced scrap and rework, plus an enhanced supply chain with a renewed leadership focus, even as headwinds from component costs and logistics persist.
