The 90s are hitting us like a truck as we watch stuff featuring Ernest P. Worrell, Will Smith, and, unfortunately, Bill Cosby. Plus the Jim Henson Hour Muppets are back, C3PO and R2D2 drop in, Tony Danza, the cast of Cheers... I think the 90s might h... more

It’s a show where two friends talk about something they love which is wonderful all on its own. They just so happen to love the Muppets which are a great vehicle to travel through time and television with. I’ve only ever seen Muppets in Space but I listen to every episode of this podcast.
There are way more muppet things than I knew about. Thanks Matt and Sam for watching the terrible ones so I don't have to ;)
I have now seen the complete Muppet Show, though, which I never would have sat down and watched without this great podcast as impetus.
Good job guys!!!!
I’m listening to this show’s back catalogue in order (I’m up to the end of 1986) and it’s a real pleasure to listen to Matthew and Sam become muppet fans almost in real time and have some great laughs along the way.

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to listen to two guys in their 30’s talk about muppets? Well brother, neither had I until I found kermitment! Before this life was devoid of muppet chat. But now it’s all I talk about and my family is concerned! Matt and Sam are extremely entertaining and have excellent podcast voices. Sometimes they get horny for Miss piggy or other muppets, but don’t worry it’s totally normal. It’s also very informative and I’ve learned many muppet facts that I can ... more
This might be heresy, but honestly, I probably like this podcast more than I like Muppets. And now I'm at this weird point where I haven’t even seen a whole lot of Muppet content, but I know all these facts about the Muppets. 🤷🏻♀️

Two friends chronicle Muppet-related media in chronological order, blending nostalgia with sharp cultural critique. They cover a broad swath of material—from classic puppetry and early TV to modern productions and cross-promotional events—while peppering discussions with production trivia, guest appearances, and personal anecdotes. The show's appeal lies in its enthusiastic chemistry, deep knowledge of Muppet history, and willingness to weighing both the creative ambitions and odd quirks of late-20th-century media. Fans of theatrical puppetry, media history, and long-running pop culture sagas will likely find the episodes engaging and entertaining, with plenty of trivia and thoughtful context for both newcomers and seasoned fans.
