Enjoying listening along while I revisit the series on Shudder. Clearly repurposed from an existing podcast, but still it’s a slick, concise, and often funny listen. My only gripe is the unexplained change in co-host starting in Season 3.
Refreshing to hear people actually enjoy the episode rather than stretch far off topic and just hear the excitement in their voice about the show.
If you’ve listened to the Misfit Parade’s Messed Up Movies podcast then you know Griffey knows horror. He also has the ability to balance his reviews between hilarious, insightful, and just a little bit naughty. Go listen!
So pumped to listen to this podcast and re-watch this beloved show. My dad and I would watch this on HBO many years ago and always loved the Crypt Keeper and his infamous laugh! Thanks Misfit Parade for another great podcast!!
Been enjoying these fun chats as I’m going back through all my old Tales DVD’s. Lots of laughs and interesting thoughts.

Interspersed with personality-driven discussions, the show often features meta-commentary, guest call-outs, and occasional cross-promotional plugs, making it feel like a knowledgeable, entertaining conversation among fans who value both critical insight and entertaining storytelling. Noteworthy patterns include a strong emphasis on production contex... more
