  • Thank You For Featuring Morgan Mitchell!

I ended up here because I have been a massive Morgan Mitchell fan for years and I saw on her Instagram that she was going to be a guest on this podcast. I could listen to both of your Aussie accents for hours (I’m from Miami) and I appreciate Keegan for giving Morgan the floor to share her life story with us. A true inspiration!

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

#124 Mark Mathews: Recreate the Fear
Q: What would be the best piece of advice you'd give to an up and coming athlete who is probably a little scared of throwing themselves all in or not sure of whether they're 100% committed because of the fear of failure?
Assess where you are in life or in your sport, where you would like to go. Get clear direction on why you want to go there, and make sure it is meaningful enough. Then break down the fear into manageable skills to develop that will help you deal with it.
#121 Dr Megan Lee: How to be Happy
Q: Can gratitude and that energy be infectious? Is there any evidence to suggest that?
Absolutely. Just like when you hang out with someone who has a positive personality, their energy can make you feel gratitude too, and there is evidence supporting this.
#121 Dr Megan Lee: How to be Happy
Q: How does sunlight exposure influence mental health?
Getting 10 minutes of sunlight into your eyeballs and onto your skin improves your mental health by setting your circadian rhythms, which regulate various biological functions.
#121 Dr Megan Lee: How to be Happy
Q: Why didn't you go down the clinical instead of the research? Was the research more appealing?
Research was much more appealing, but I also found that I was the type of person that I really feel people's feels. If I went into the field helping people, I would take on their problems, leading to burnout, and I knew that about myself.
#110 Benji Haldon: Building Business, Break Ups and Belonging
Q: Has there been any dark tunnels that you've entered where you couldn't see light at the end of the tunnel?
Benji reflects on a personal experience where he contemplated jumping off a bridge but found the strength to take one more step each day.
