  • A Fav Podcast

I love the Mind Caddie Podcast and Karl’s perspectives. He’s a bit like the Buddha of golf. I’m an expert in sport performance & still manage to take things away from the Podcast into my work and golf too. He occasionally has the odd guest that uses ‘poor science’ or speaks a bit of BS but that’s inevitable with putting out weekly content. Has the podcast helped my golf? Yeah - when it’s going badly, I use his ‘Attention, Intention, Attitude’ to bring myself back. Golf is a series of problems, w... more

  • Insightful, exciting and thought provoking

I look forward to Karl's podcasts every week and really value the information, conversations and varied opinions that arise from these podcasts. Karl's questioning is brilliant and thought stirring which often gives me plenty to think about, some things I resonate with, others I question but definitely always offers food for thought. 100% these chats will help improve my game and the way I think on and off the course! Keep up the great work Karl!

  • Transformational

Karl's podcasts are superb and so is this app. It is really easy to use in bite-size elements, or for longer sessions. As ever Karl's explanations are clear, easy to follow and understand, and transformational in their content. I'd give this app 6 stars if I could.

  • Simply the best at his craft

I’ve listened to Karl for years now and imo, there is no better podcast host I have come across. His conversations are rooted with a deep love and appreciation of the game of golf. Not only does he seem to ask all of the right, thoughtful questions, he always gives his guest time and guidance to fully express their point of view. It leads to some wonderful conversations. I think there is an art to this and appreciate what it has done for my game and even beyond

Q: Tell us about your early days in golf and how you fell in love with it.
Karl Morris describes a late start in golf influenced by cricket, playing freely without lessons, and the moment a golf club connected with his understanding of drawing the ball. The discussion then shifts to how experience and later coaching shaped his approach.
The Golfers Who Get Out of Their Own Way Play Better – Dr. Debbie Crews #422
Q: Has there been any sort of discoveries in the last few years that have surprised you in terms of your research?

Even intuitive green readers benefit from structure; we help them extract their intuition, provide feedback on their reads, and use measurable practices like predicting break and then validating with the actual outcome to refine their instincts.
"The World's Best Putting Coach' - Phil Kenyon #421
Q: What are the three key elements of putting that you focus on with players?
We focus on face control, pace, and green reading, and tailor each player's approach around their biases and the specific weaknesses we uncover in assessment, followed by performance-based practice to transfer those skills to the course.
Without LEARNING technology becomes ENTERTAINMENT How to BEST use a Launch Monitor with Henri Johnson from FlightScope #420
Q: How should consumers be using a Launch Monitor to improve their game?
Start with clear objectives, then define a plan and get coached to stay on track; use the data to map cause and effect, focusing on one area at a time and building skill through consistent practice.
