  • You’ve lost me

Initially liked the pod but you’ve lost me with some of Kam’s takes. There’s only so much “that’s lame”, “so uncool”, “what a loser” one can listen to without feeling like it’s just pretension and talking for the sake of talking. It’s kinda revealing of a fear of being seen as lame/uncool herself and it makes it challenging to listen to the podcast. A shame because the other hosts Bobbi and Kelli have more nuanced takes.

  • Far and away the most insightful analysis of ITWTV

I loved the show and in lieu of having a season 3 to enjoy, I immediately looked for some post-show discussion to consume. There are a few pretty enjoyable podcasts but this is the most thoughtful, articulate and well-organized of the shows I found. The ladies are so smart and their enthusiasm is paired with knowledge of the source texts as well as writing more broadly, and a deep understanding of what makes good drama. I really rate their analysis.

  • the newest outlet for my chronic IWTV obsession

Such a fun and insightful podcast that is truly worthy of its source material. I love hearing their takes on race, queerness and character development. I can’t keep track of anyone’s names, but one of them has clearly done some great trauma therapy, so kudos to you, girl. I wish there were 50 more episodes that could tide me over until next spring when season 3 airs. Keep up the good work!

  • Not meeting the material

I had high hopes for this podcast, especially because Kellie has done some genuinely insightful cast interviews. But I’m disappointed. Kellie remains the most thoughtful of the three, but she often gets steamrolled by the more superficial takes from the other hosts. They always agree with each other, which makes the discussion repetitive and frustrating when questionable observations go unchallenged.

The biggest issue is the lack of context. The hosts often treat characters as inconsistent or i... more
