  • JiJ Review April 2025

Easily the best PWHL podcast out there so far. Sound quality is great and production is top notch. Guests are insightful and the hosts seem to have great access to the players who are all forthcoming and open in the interviews.

*Decent* coverage of all 6 teams, but a clear bias towards the Canadian teams/players vs US teams/non-Canadian players. Perhaps this is because both hosts are Canadian? Since this is the official podcast of a league in its second year there should be an effort to get fan... more

  • Interesting podcast mostly

Provides good insight into women’s hockey. Too much chat about other topics. Totally disagree with podcasters re stopping the Rivalry Series. It’s great winter entertainment, showcases women’s hockey to audiences that don’t have PWHL teams, and another reason to be proud Canadians

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

DRAFT AND END OF SEASON SPECIAL!
Q: When you say not expecting it at all, what was your expectation then?
Well, they didn't talk to me in pre-draft interviews and stuff, so I actually have not met any of them before.
DRAFT AND END OF SEASON SPECIAL!
Q: What are you most looking forward to about being a member of the Boston Fleet?
I just... I'm so excited. Obviously, this is everyone's dream. So it's like still hasn't sunk in.
DRAFT AND END OF SEASON SPECIAL!
Q: Walk us through the emotions now that you've gotten a chance to think about the fact that you just went first overall.
I was pretty emotional. I don't really cry too much. So I was like, ooh, I gotta, you know, I can't let it show.
ONE WIN FROM WALTER! KNOLL CALLS 3OT
Q: Did it cross your head that you might score the overtime goal?
Maybe, but I also just thought our line was doing so well that I was hoping one of us would put something in the net.
ONE WIN FROM WALTER! KNOLL CALLS 3OT
Q: When you're sitting in the dressing room before the third overtime, like what is everyone doing?
I go get any treatment I need or any nourishment. I never had eaten applesauce during the game until today and it came up big.
