I so appreciate the “inside baseball” nature of this podcast. As a PWHL fangirl, who has long admired women’s hockey, but hasn’t followed as closely as I do now, this podcast really hits the spot to bring me up to speed on an inclusive way. Also the interview with Natalie Spooner and the candid discussion about the challenges of being a new mom and a professional athlete were particularly touching.
I’m new to hockey - didn’t grew up with it but my girls play and they’ve fallen in love with the sport. I love that Julia & Tessa give a behind the scenes look into the PWHL and women’s hockey but make it approachable even if you’re a newer fan like me. The interviews have been so fun, love getting to know the players!
My sister just told me about this podcast and I’m so excited it exists! It is awesome to have a place that is covering the league and giving updates on how the teams are doing.
