“唯然，世尊！愿乐欲闻。”
“唯”，应诺之词。声入心通，于如是住降之理，已彻底明了。如来之护念付嘱，别人未能见到，须菩提独能见到。代大众启请住降，果蒙佛赞许。结经者于“唯”下安一“然”字，写出须菩提庆快生平、自喜领会无差之情景。然为大众未能了解，故又请问。“愿”者，愿望。“乐”者，好乐。“欲”者，希求。若唯心愿而不好乐，闻或不切；又能好乐而不希求，闻或不深。此三字一层进一层，表示大众之渴仰，亦可为末法苦恼众生表示渴仰。“闻”字与经初“如是我闻”之“闻”字相应。倘无须菩提之愿... more

“汝今谛听，当为汝说。善男子、善女人，发阿耨多罗三藐三菩提心，应如是住，如是降伏其心。”
须菩提岂有不谛听之理？佛之诫，是为大众，及现在我们众生。谛者，真实正确也。一不可以贡高，二不可以卑下。倘犯此二病，即不能谛听，即听亦不能正确。有人稍研求经论，即自以为通晓佛学，此犯贡高之病。有人高推圣境，以为如此大法，我们如何能解，此犯卑下之病。贡高是慢，卑下亦是卑慢。如此听经，即不能真实正确。是以学佛者务须免除以上二病，虚心领受，故云“谛听”。既能谛听，岂可不说？故云“当为汝说”，意... more
