While they were breaking ground for a new hospital, the city of Villeneuve Sur Lot uncovered a lost ruins. Hospital plans were shelved, and the Excisum Archeological site and Museum were founded. This week, we headed over for a look.

On our return from Sick-Bay, we venture out to the Chateau Ferrassou to enjoy some Jazz. Julie also took in the 41st annual Foire a la Poterie de St. Avit. And we pay tribute to the amazing actor, advocate and human being, Graham Greene.

    I’m an employee of Accor Hotels based in Calgary. Accor is the management company that owns the Fairmont brand. The fire did reach the Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge, however it did not destroy the resort. It did take some structures, not all lost.

  • Disappointed, so much melodrama

    The premise seemed really interesting, a North American couple moving to France detailing the experience. But particularly the male host is so over the top melodramatic and full of faux outrage. Yes, I’ve heard the it’s challenging to get through all the bureaucracy to complete a move like this. But I was hoping for a down to earth accounting of the processes and tips for success.
