This week in France included a bird attack, the total destruction of our living room due to a turned ankle and a fantastic visit to the vibrant village of Lectoure.

It's been another extremely hot week in France. Not hot enough to cancel the Villeneuve Sur Lot Air show though. And if you've ever wondered how large planes appear in strange places, wonder no more.

This week, Jeff wraps up his trip back to Canada, and says goodbye to a long standing Canadian institution. Julie has more on the French heatwave, and yes, the pooping Falcons are back.

    I’m an employee of Accor Hotels based in Calgary. Accor is the management company that owns the Fairmont brand. The fire did reach the Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge, however it did not destroy the resort. It did take some structures, not all lost.
