It’s hard for me to tell whether the hosts are AI or not. That said, there was some interesting info presented, but the way it’s presented is so cringey and forced, and in some cases, downright annoying. There was an entire episode (the $30 bento one) where the host speaks the entire episode in a hushed whisper tone - he took a one-joke premise and kept at it for 10 minutes. I punched my steering wheel listening to that episode.
This podcast is very useful snd shares information in a well organized format. It gets directly to the point without wasting time on tangents or chit chat.
I rarely take the time to review podcasts (I should do that more) but I just had to say this one is amazing. It’s off beat, efficient, and has provided so much info for our upcoming trip that would have taken me way longer to learn otherwise! Thank you so much!
For those who like to geek out on travel planning this podcast is excellent for its useful and unique tips and perspective.
At first I thought Johnny was a kind of oddly wooden. Then I thought he might be AI. But I eventually found this podcast to be really helpful, candid, and actually funny.
I'm listening to episodes on places I'm not even planning to visit because they are really entertaining. Check out the episode on Nara--it's like a comedy/horror movie with deer.
Thanks Johnny--whoever you are.
