Terrific teacher, often terrible sound recordings and those that have translation too difficult to follow. He deserves better technology!!
I’ve gained so much from these talks. James Low delivers Buddhist teachings in a smart, fresh and humorous way that makes them super accessible. I’m a doctor and a skeptic with no religious or spiritual background, and if you’d told me a few years ago that I’d one day be voluntarily listening to a bunch of 4-8 hr long podcasts on topics like emptiness I would have thought you were crazy. Yet, here I am. Thank you, James.
James Low’s explanations of dharma points are clear and to the point. He makes ideas that might seem abstract become helpful, practical, and beautiful.

The treasure is shining everywhere here. One does not have to look far.
I recommend going to James’s website still though because the audio archive is jaw dropping.
Thank You to all involved that make this possible.

A deep-dive series centered on Dzogchen and Tibetan Buddhist practice, with frequent explorations of non-duality, emptiness, and presence in daily life. Across episodes, the host brings practical guidance on meditation, guru yoga, and mindful living, while also examining how contemporary pressures—economic change, climate anxiety, and social conditioning—shape experience and decision-making. A recurring strength is translating dense teachings into accessible exercises, stories, and real-world applications, making philosophy feel usable for modern life. Notable moments include integrative discussions on ethics, compassion, and interdependence, plus occasional reflections on how to navigate identity and perception without clinging to fixed vi... more
