  • Awful, awful - the teacher doesn’t know the language

Granted, there is very little content to teach isiZulu out there but this is probably the worst. The speaker is not a native isiZulu speaker (she sounds like she can barely speak her own language, Northern Ndebele from Bulawayo, Zimbabwe). I wouldn’t recommend anyone listen to this podcast.

  • What the hell is this?

Maybe learn the language before trying to teach it.

  • Stop

Please stop teaching a language you can't speak.

Your vocab, grammar, pronunciations and translations are just so wrong. Stop insulting the zulu language!! 😡😡😡

As a zulu speaker this was audible and is from someone who speaks and understands the language. I am unsure, though, whether learning in this fashion will make one speak the language - as is the case with many podcasts. My recommendations here would be more supporting text so that listeners also see the words and get to understand the grammar. This... more
