Love this project but every episode has very, very somber background music that interferes with the beautiful, unique & powerful voice of each speaker. Would be great to just focus on the important real life stories that these individuals are telling. Amazing stories but the sound design does not do justice.
Satori Shakoor of The Secret Society of Twisted Storytellers said the neighborhood she lived in as a kid looked like “a mouth with a lot of teeth missing yet was full of people and life and diversity,” which is a stunning line and a metaphor for this beautiful show.
This podcast is like….. PERFECT for when I’m driving tractor!
Just beautiful
