I really appreciate this podcast’s writing style. I really enjoyed how they did a great job in the production as well. I really tried to listen through the whole series. But there are too many suddenly super loud noises and screams that act as vocal jump scares. I end up having to turn up the volume to hear whispers and understand what is being said and then suddenly there is yelling at full volume. As a horror podcast junkie, I’ve literally heard all of them. This is without question one of the most original, well-written, well edited and well performed cast out there.
I’d put it up there with Knifepoint, hitch hiker horror, WNMTK, acephale and others. Not a huge fan of content warnings in horror outside of “content warning: podcast contains horror so listen to something else if you can’t deal with being scared/upset.” But I get it, you’re trying to grow and at first you need as many ears... more
