Ok, awesome pod. Love all of it! My mom and I listen to so many GZM shows, and this one was one of the first ones we listened to together! Overall Applause is what I have to say. Hidden Island is one of GZM’s best shows.

The dad reminds me of Bill Hader, the only guy other than Norm who is funny and never does a bit denigrating anyone. The specific sketch was him and Fred doing “The Royal Family à la Crass” genuinely sounds like a kind dad. Just wonderful pacing without making anything feel rushed. Steered clear of tropes which is a breath of fresh air like not pandering to red hats and blue hairs. Good is good and this show is, good.
