Looking after our mental health is something we’re all aware of but it can be incredibly daunting when it comes to where to start. That’s exactly where we begin with, 'I’m OK Though'.... a new mental health podcast, taking an enlightened everyday approach to talking about the hard stuff. Hosted by psychotherapist Jodie Cariss and music producer Owen Cutts.

This for me has the perfect balance between someone who is interested in therapy and someone who is a therapist. I love how relaxed it feels yet they do go in on certain subjects. Will happily recommend this to friends, family and colleagues.
I really enjoy this podcast and its refreshing conversation topics. My only gripe is that a lot of Jodie’s (non-therapy related) advice is often widely inaccurate or outdated. For example, that kids shouldn’t wear strong sun cream or that eating breakfast is crucial for everyone. I can respect an opinion but these loose statements personally taint the podcast for me.
Please please do away with the initial background music. For some it’s too much to process. It took me several attempts to get through the welcome podcast and the first minute of Ep1.
