Sandy has a strong emotional connection to her parents' house's ghost. That's enough, isn't it? Another wonderful listener story complete with cool imagery i'll share in the Facebook group, too!

It's a Chip Coffey episode, thank goodness. The PRS team goes to visit a ranch where horses have been hurt and killed (boo!) and must try to discern what's real and what's not. They don't really figure it out, but there's lots of great ambiance!

This is definitely my go to comfort show! I find Dr Adam genuine, intelligent, and entertaining. Definitely give this show a try and you won’t be disappointed!
This is a ghost show podcast even a dyed in the wool skeptic like me can love. It’s served up with a healthy dose of humor, and a good bit of side eye for stentorian ghost hunting buffoons. Dr. Adam is the prof everyone wishes they’d had in college.
While it’s true I would listen to Dr. Adam read the phone book, I especially love his commentary on these shows, making them both spooky and hilarious. Thanks for sharing, Dr. Adam!
If I’m being honest, I could literally listen to Dr. Adam read the phone book (do those exist anymore?) and I am obsessed with ghost shows, the worse the better, so when I found out he has this podcast I practically broke an ankle running to subscribe. I’m listening to all of the episodes and I don’t know how I’ll cope when I’m caught up and have to wait week to week. Dr. Adam is such a wholesome and insightful person, and that shows through here, but also…. hearing him cursing up a storm and tr... more
I discovered this podcast through Amye’s Murder She Watched podcast. I love everything about this podcast. It’s LOL funny, and it’s touching too. A lot of funny podcasts are sarcastic and mean, even ones I like, but Dr. Adam has such a wholesome outlook I always enjoy listening. I appreciate his genuine sensitivity to the real life tragic history and haunting “victims.” He is a delight!

A humor-infused look at supernatural-themed television, balancing skepticism and belief as the host dissects paranormal shows with a sharp eye and plenty of personality. Episodes mix witty banter, thoughtful analysis, and guest perspectives, ranging from psychics and theologians to family members of those involved in investigations. The show tends to weigh evidence against entertainment, often highlighting how production choices, narrative framing, and personal experiences shape what audiences accept as real. Noteworthy is a consistent blend of critique, nostalgia for classic paranormal media, and accessible storytelling that invites both skeptical and credulous listeners to question what they see on screen.
