Two mediocre white guys, recall and review classic movies of the past and present. Try to imagine a conversation you might have with a 90s era video store clerk about what you should watch tonight. A great podcast made for fans of classic 80’s and 90’s movies. Ollie and Nathan are hilarious and provide thoughtful and entertaining commentary. A great listen each episode, it truly feels like you are listening in on a conversation between a few friends.
Very enjoyable, just some pals talking about awesome 80’s movies. If you were obsessive about these Films back in the day you’ll get the references immediately. As long as the guys stay away from comparing the films to 2020 “woke” values, I’ll keep listening
If you find that modern action films are saturated in CGI and generally vague and underwhelming...and like me you lament the lost elan of the nonPC and mostly straight to video classics from the 80s and 90s....you will love this podcast! more
Time well spent with two very intelligent, thoughtful, and clever individuals. You will find yourself laughing out loud, often. And, very likely inspired to rewatch these 80s classics.
