  • Great content, terrible production

The recent Peter Hitchens and Chris Snowdon episode was unlistenable as are many others. Such a shame because the content is excellent. Keep up the good work but please employ a decent sound technician!

  • Good content awful audio quality.

Difficult to listen to. Invest in half reasonable microphones would be my advice.

30 minute bite size chunks about a different policy area each week. Always something different and not always unanimous views. But mainly in the free market direction.

Are We in the Biggest Bubble in History?
Q: If this is not retail politics, how do you make these big issues resonate with the public and shift public opinion toward recognizing the economic risks?
By clearly communicating the tangible consequences—housing unaffordability, job market stagnation, and long-term social costs—and by engaging journalists and influencers to adopt a framework that highlights systemic monetary risks rather than short-term political fixes.
Are We in the Biggest Bubble in History?
Q: Birth rates and money printing: do you see a link between debt, the collapse of the gold standard, and lack of confidence in the future as it relates to birth rates?
Yes, there is a connection: high debt and cheap money pressures housing costs and living standards, which suppress birth rates; demographic trends mirror financial distortions and political responses to those pressures.
Why Britain Is Poorer Than America | Tyler Goodspeed
Q: What do you attribute Britain's relatively weak growth since 2008 to?
Policy choices, especially in banking regulation and energy dependence, combined with a slower shift toward non-bank lending and domestic capital formation, have limited the UK's ability to recover productivity and growth post-crisis relative to the United States.
Why Britain Is Poorer Than America | Tyler Goodspeed
Q: What are the kind of big serial killers of economic growth?
The main culprits are macroeconomic shocks that affect many sectors simultaneously and sector-specific shocks that are highly linked to the broader economy, such as energy price spikes and regulated credit constraints that choke financing for growth.
Why Britain Is Poorer Than America | Tyler Goodspeed
Q: What do you mean by this?
Expansions are not inherently doomed by their duration; rather, recessions often result from shocks—energy, policy, or financial events—that disrupt multiple sectors, and the timing or length of expansions alone does not predict the depth of a subsequent recession.
