I know your guys humor MOST OF THE TIME but calling her daughter a cu*nt because she said she loved her dad mom than her mom was INSANE!!! I think you did a little too much that episode and kind of made me not want to listen anymore.
At what point is it not funny and just kind of rude af!!
Imagine someone laughing while recounting the story of your murdered family.
These two tell it like it is and it’s refreshing.
As a Canadian living in Australia, listening to ISGD has given my accent a new lease on life. Love the chit chat and the irreverent humour. And Erin—you have the cutest laugh! Thanks you two xx
I really hate the way this podcast is advertised. “We try to one up each other’s stories”, these are people’s lives we’re talking about. Imagine if your sister or best friend was killed and someone referred to the case as ONE UPPING another person’s murder. Gross

Two best friends host a lighthearted true crime show that blends investigative storytelling with candid banter and pop-culture tangents. Episodes mix case recaps with personal anecdotes, irreverent humor, and occasional guests (including Erin's dog at times), creating a conversational, no-holds-barred vibe that fans describe as hanging out with friends while exploring wild crime stories. The format often leans into witty observations, chaotic energy, and a community feel around revisiting older cases and sharing new twists as they come up. A standout element is the chemistry between the hosts, which many listeners say keeps heavy topics approachable and entertaining, even when cases are grim or controversial.
