  • Two minds behind some of my favorite things come together to discuss some of my favorite songs and the larger creative process. At the core of it, a lot of what is human seeps into what humans create, and John Darnielle is still so connected to where he was when he wrote these songs. It's heart-warming and inspiring, and I get to fall in love with my favorite music all over again.

  • Thank you

I’ve been listening The Mountain Goats since I was a kid. This podcast has suddenly added so much depth and dimension to the songs I’ve loved for so long, and it’s such a gift. Please consider doing a season on The Sunset Tree (it’s one of my all time most important albums).
