Being the child of a narcissist, I was naturally drawn to the premise, although the “science” is comically bad. The acting and the production values are acceptable, but the pacing of the story is much too rushed. It could be so much better if the writers took more time to develop the plot and the characters.
It’s worth noting that, if you subtract the commercials, each episode consists of about 12-13 minutes of actual content. That kind of says a lot about the level of effort that went into ... more
I love the story, the actors, everything but…anyone I know working on phd can get a job working in their field, they don’t need to wait in tables.
You can’t be both badly written AND acted as a podcast. This show has no depth, the characters are lackluster, and the plot generic. I’m normally a patient listener and willing to allow a story to develop, but I only managed to get through the first 4 episodes of this. Maybe it would have gotten better if o stuck around, but I had to bail.
For a woman who finished a Masters Program and starting further Science studies, she sounds like a teenager. Family lives off a massive trust fund worth billions but she claims her mother showed them the “hard side of life”…..really how did she do that? Didn’t get very far.
Love this for sci fi fans!
