What a podcast…. insightful, humorous and informative, Dr Russell Sharp is a beacon of knowledge within his field. Would recommended even if you’re not a ‘plant head.’
Russel is a Plant Scientist at large for sure. His innovative ideas initially sound crazy but the results are always outstanding. His podcast is a small reflection of his vast knowledge. If you want science based information instead of just second-hand information from other “wannabe influencers”, this podcast is where you’ll get the real deal. Must listen!

This is a very interesting podcast and covers a wide range of topics from nutrients, light, biostimulants, to novel crops in hydroponics like grapes!
I've only been listening for a short while, but have listened to a lot of catch up episodes because they are short and bursting with info.
Well done Dr Sharp - always staying Sharp :)
I have been listening Dr Sharp for the better part of 2025. Being a small scale grower I tend to invest more in experimental techniques than actual production. This pod cast is beyond informative in addition to all the resources found on his companys website. Refreshing to receive feedback and ideas with experienced scientific backing. In addition to updates and current trends in the greater world of hydroponic cultivation.
