  • Unorganized

With all the hunting podcasts out there, this one is one of the least interesting ones out there. These clowns complain about NR tags being cut but are hypocrites due to the state they live in and how it focks NR hunters. Just a terrible podcast unless you want to go guided. Even then subpar at best.

HTW-Ep 315 What Makes Canis Great /W Alex Wallis
Q: Tell us about the Canis rain gear and why it's so highly regarded.
The group explains that the rain gear uses a non-Gortex laminate with high breathability and a proprietary rain-repellency blend, delivering strong weather protection without sacrificing airflow, which justifies its premium price.
HTW-Ep 312 Gearing Up for a Wilderness Hunt W/ Zach Logan
Q: How do you decide what to keep in your pack for long expeditions?
Focus on the essentials: boots, socks, base layers, a minimal number of mid-layers, a reliable sleeping pad, and weather-appropriate outerwear, while avoiding mid-range items that add weight without clear benefit.
HTW-Ep 310 Hunting the World at $5,500, $7,500, and $10,000 W/Aaron Fredlund
Q: What would be your top three under $5,500, and why?
The group discussed odds, species variety, and accessibility, highlighting odd-ad/black-bear/trophy antelope or BC whitetail as strong value options, plus the idea of pairing species to maximize experience while staying under budget.
