  • Truly helpful and inspiring

As an author and writer I feel like there is SO MUCH out there that promises to be helpful. Where do you even begin? If I may: here is a great place to start! Ariel and Liz are so knowledgeable and refreshing to listen to. Because they quote from so many other experts, they have a wealth of well-curated information to share. I especially found the “Mining for Content” episode super helpful and affirming. Thank you both, and can’t wait to listen to more!

I’m an author and faith-based writer who has been sharing my work since 2017. I am addicted to books about the writing life and an avid listener to podcasts about writing as well! The Hungry Authors podcast is a well of wisdom on all of these topics, and each episode is full of insight and encouragement. Liz and Ariel ask thoughtful and relevant questions fr... more

  • So glad I joined

I have had the pleasure of working with Ariel on my memoir- it was such a good experience and I wasn’t ready to let go (not like in a creepy way) and am so glad I jumped on the podcast. I was already sold from working with Ariel but when Liz started referencing authors and books that are my jam - it only made me love this podcast harder. As an über green author they give me not only concrete tools, suggestions, and guidance but also hope - which is sometimes the hardest resource to summon.
