They really teach you the many ways to break down a script and how to perform it
The hosts Sam and Mark have such brilliant chemistry and bounce off each other brilliantly. It’s fascinating to see how different people approach the same script! Half an hour of guaranteed fun!
This is my favourite podcast at the moment. It’s a terrific reminder that as voice actors and as human beings, we are all incredibly unique. The thing I enjoy most is that you feel like a fly on the wall listening tothree experienced voiceover buddies play around with the same scripts.

I can’t remember who recommended this podcast to me but I’m so glad they did! For many of us, the hardest part of auditioning is creating two unique takes of a script. So this podcast is a ‘masterclass’ on how to change things up and do something completely different. The Wildcard Round is so funny and creative. Thank you to Mark and Sam for creating this amazing, funny, and informative podcast. I’m binge listening to every episode!
I cannot believe I’m so late to discover this one, but I’m very glad I have! Brilliantly produced and hosted with a smooth professionalism you’d expect from this pair, and they’re also funny! I’m hooked after 1 episode. Felt like a very entertaining mini masterclass in VO. And you’ll not go wrong with episode after episode of delicious ear candy! Yum yum!
