Absolutely brilliant podcast however as a tech within the main stage entertainment industry we also face many challenges both mentally and physically. It would be great to have someone who works as a tech to talk about how they cope with the stresses of the job on the podcast to give others in the industry an idea of what it’s like as well for us.
Saying that this podcast was brilliant and I’ll be recommending it to all.
As a performer with chronic pain, fatigue, and anxiety, the ‘Fight or Flight’ element of being on a stage can be both exhilarating, and incredibly detrimental to my health! I strongly advocate that ALL PERFORMERS AND ARTISTS need to be talking more about how to care for ourselves, both on, and off the stage!
For anyone involved in the performing arts industry, this podcast, ‘House Lights Up’ from The Arts Wellbeing Collective is a truly authentic, and valuable listen.
Thanks!
