Host Unknown is the unholy alliance of the old, the new and the rockstars of the infosec industry in an internet-based show that tries to care about issues in our industry. It regularly fails. With presenters that have an inflated opinion of their own worth and a production team with a pathological dislike of them (or “meat puppets” as it often refers to them), it is with a combination of luck and... more

Worth a listen. Content is good. However, the audio levels between the hosts is consistently poor which makes listening quite painful. You find yourself turning it up to hear one of the hosts, to then, be subjected to audio abuse by another. If this is what they mean by the watery bit coming out of the tomato ketchup bottle, then I’d say they’re delivering a fantastic show. Cheer chaps.
Just recently started listening to this show…
If you want to hear how apparently Javvad (the host) got kicked off his own podcast, have the words ‘industry news’ burned into your brain or be left contemplating ‘billy big balls’ as a reference or in general be left wondering what British inside jokes you missed then give this a listen.
Solid 5/10
Seriously though, great podcast! 😊
No doubt, why it is the most entertaining podcast in Europe. Absolutely brilliant. Hosts, topics and jokes - everything is just as needed, me personally would set 10 of 5, if I could. The way Tom, Andy and Jav talk to each other is outstanding, a bit spicy, a bit of trolling and lots of fun.
One of my favourite jokes was Andys about the G. That was hilarious.
Love the show. Thanks to all of you. It is currently my favourite podcast.

I love how they ease us into infosec every week by first talking about their week. Feels like I’m part of the friend group, just catching up over a beverage at the end of the week. My week was good - thanks for asking - I had the landscaper round to plan out the patio and still haven’t fixed that bedside cabinet. My favourite part is the history lesson. And your rants always leave my head spinning as you seem to rant about all three sides of a coin and bring in an opposing opinion as well, just ... more
