If you want an intelligent, stimulating podcast where you are entertained & learn something- then this isn’t it! I had high hopes for this podcast after purchasing one of their “The Science of” books, & it’s like it’s not even the same people that wrote it. All my hopes were dashed! Other feminist podcasts dive DEEP, do homework & research, talk about tropes, hidden themes, politics, etc. These ladies don’t even talk about the subject matter- they just ramble about COMPLETELY unrelated topics th... more
Been listening to the podcast for a long time. I enjoy what the main hosts have to say and it’s cute when they bring their kids on. I wish they had better audio because sometimes.. it’s like the put their phone to their mic and decided it was good enough to publish. I just don’t understand. The audio inconsistency makes me want to unsubscribe.
I’ll try a few without him but he makes a Pauly Shore character seem akin to a genius.
Suffered through the Ready or Not episode minutes after seeing it just checking for podcasts on the film, and wow, is he dense.
Saying a bit where she looks at herself in the mirror for a couple seconds was unrealistic, in a supernatural horror, semi-parody flick, and he would have just run into the woods. The house was completely locked down, which was very obviously pointed out.
