Wow, the clear classism and racism in the episode with Liz McRory was so off putting I decided not to continue listening. When explaining the issues she saw in her public school she said “it was section 8 housing, there were a lot of single-parent households, some parents were in prison and there was chaos at home that they brought to school. And it was cultural, I just couldn’t relate because I hadn’t grown up this way.” I’m sorry, I’m just not interested in hearing from someone who thinks poor... more
