I really like this podcast. It’s very informative and you can get a well described answer to your questions. I would recommend this podcast.
What happened to Dany Millikan? The new host, while very nice, but not a gardening “expert” needs to let the guest experts answer the questions.
Stumbled across this show but WOW what a great podcast of their radio show. Informative, helpful, and a little funny garden show. Love that they have very knowledgeable guests from around the area. Gave me several ideas and just listening made my green thumb a little greener! My plants are a lot happier.

A practical, call-in style show focused on Houston-area lawn, garden, and landscape topics. Episodes emphasize soil health, weed and pest management, plant selection for the Gulf Coast climate, and sustainable, low-toxicity solutions. Listeners regularly hear product tips from local nurseries and garden centers, plus expert guests from nurseries, pest control, and wildlife groups, creating a regionally anchored, hands-on gardening resource.
A standout aspect is the strong local ecosystem emphasis: frequent vendor shout-outs, community-building sponsor reads, and practical protocols (soil biology, compost, and targeted biostimulants) that listeners can apply immediately. The format blends caller Q&A with expert context and actionable takeaw... more
