We started this podcast last week espousing how crazy the last several hours had been for this fanbase, and it has not slowed down one bit. One thing you can be sure of, there are no more bored gifs in the discord being posted lamenting SKC’s lack of... more

Just found this through another great SKC podcast, and love the guys digging into the tactics and details. As a football fan, can highly recommend this show.
Bar none this is simply the best and most in-depth pod. Absolutely independent and not afraid to cover any topic, while making a concerted effort to speak to both sides of a topic.
Pretty good SKC pod. They are a bit overly positive about the direction of the club but they offer good analysis of what the team is trying to do. It can be a little hard to listen to them sometimes since they can’t bother to pronounce some of the players’ names right.
In-depth tactical review and speaks to real issues with the club while being loyal supporters. Keep it up!
As a long time listener of Talkin’ Touches, I was disappointed when it went the way of the dodo. But Home and Away has stepped up and filled the void TT left behind. Quality analysis, rooted in realism unlike other SKC pods out there.
Matt and Cody provide some of the best analysis of the games. It is thoughtful and reflective of minds who really know the team (unlike a certain national podcast out there) and who know the game.

Episodes consistently explore coaching decisions, player utilization, depth across positions, and the team's path to more cohesive performance, while weaving in MLS-wide and USMNT news. A standout trait is the candid, opinionated banter alongside data-informed takes, plus regular guest analyses and a willingness to discuss ownership and organizational strategy. The show tends to attract listeners who want pragmatic football analysis, strong fan culture, and a clear Kansas City soccer perspective, with frequent threads about development, leadership, and roster planning.
