…if the hosts didn’t recite directly from their notes like they’re cold reading an underwhelming script. I don’t know how to describe this other than ending a bunch of sentences in a row in a kind of trailing off, classroom reading aloud cadence. It is SO distracting especially when everything else about the show is solid.
Please let Desi finish a sentence before asking a question
I listen to this podcast while I’m at work. I’m a bookkeeper, so lots of computer tying and paperwork. I enjoy the story telling and the girls laughing.
I left a bad review after an episode where Desi was sucking a sweet put me off, however I decided to give it another go & I’m happy to report the interesting cases & funny chemistry of the girls has made up for it. It’s a great podcast :)
This is my favorite podcast. The off kilter approach to journalism in the mini episodes is exactly what I am looking for in my news. The in-depth stories delving into the strange crimes and misdemeanors of famous people in the regular episodes is fantastic.
