雪風の中で山道を歩いていると、寒くてつらかった。歩き始めた頃からもう、「どのくらい我慢して歩いたら、温泉に気持ちよく入れるかな？」ということしか考えていなかった。
けがの危険性なく、でも苦労した実感があるちょうどいいラインで雪の開聞岳を引き返すことができて非常に幸せだった。
ひょっとして人生ってこれでいいのでは？ と思った。

その昔ネットで、いじめられていた子ども時代父親からナイフを渡された、という話を読みました。「これもっとけ、でも絶対使うんじゃねえぞ」と言われたそうです。
ナイフを隠し持って、耐え忍べ。という教えが心に残りました。
自分の心にナイフを隠し持つことで強くなれるのかもしれません。人から絶対に折られない自分の強み……なんだろ。

芯から寒くて、お湯ばかり飲んでいます。白湯（さゆ）か。「白湯を飲むと、内臓がお風呂につかっている感じがして気持ちがいい」と誰かが言っていて、そうイメージするとたしかにそんな気がしてきます。問題はねえ、寝る前に飲みすぎるとトイレが近くなることなんですよね。寒い夜や明け方にトイレへは行きたくない、でも白湯は飲みたい。このジレンマどうしてくれよう。
