大学生くらいまでは、音楽というものの価値が自分の中でとても高かった。素晴らしい音楽は色んな所を探して見つけるもので、それを音楽プレーヤーに入れて大事に持ち歩いた。再生すると、素晴らしい世界が展開した。
今でももちろん音楽の素晴らしさに違いはない。ただあまりにもアクセスが容易になり、希少性という価値は僕の中で失われてしまった。音楽の魔力が薄れてしまったように感じるのは、あるいは僕の感受性の衰えだろうか。
もっと昔、レコード発明以前の音楽の魔力はいったいどれほどのものだったろうと、考えてみる。 more
最近、身近な人に裏切られたのですが、そもそも信頼していたのはぼくの勝手なわけで、そう傷つくことでもないか、という思いになりました。アドラー心理学が少しずつぼくの中で根付いてきているのかもしれません。
まあともあれ、「それでもまだ他人を信じることができる」という美徳が残ったわけです。
人生の中で何度も何度も思い知ることではありますが、世の中には良い人も悪い人もいる。またひとつ思い知りました。

人生で一番古い記憶は3,4歳のころ家の階段が降りられなくて泣いている記憶です。古い家だったので階段が急だったんですね。階段の途中の壁がなぜか好きで、上りたいから上るけど、降りられなくなって泣く。何回もそれで母親に下ろしてもらっていた記憶があります。恐怖って記憶に残りやすいよね。
