I have listened to a few of their episodes and folks, they are so entertaining! Not only is the idea of two high people talking about history great in theory, they pull it off so well. Expect to be informed and entertained!
I run a similar theatre history podcast called “Euripides, Eumenides.” The format of “Hightailing Through History” is so similar to mine, that I can’t help but love this show. The topics are fascinating, and don’t get bogged down with some of the more annoying complexities about history.
Give it a whirl! It’s absolutely worth it!
Literally the only podcast I listen to. The stories are great, but they’re told in such a funny way. It is a surprisingly nice balance of comedy and great stories that you don’t normally get. Mix some wonderful Midwest charm, and a little bit of weed and booze, and have a merry ole time!
I don't normally like podcasts with more than one host, but the rapport between the two is great, they are funny and the history is on point! Highly recommended.
