Tried to give this a shot. Listened to one episode (second shooting) and Mel was on a tangent and kind of condescending the first half. Seemed irritated about second shooters and almost as if they are beneath her. Very discouraging as someone who is genuinely trying to learn and wanting to dip a toe into second shooting. She mentioned that she has never second shot, but perhaps she should give it a go for a humbling exercise for her creativity. Always room for growth.
I really tried to like this podcast but it just feels like one big ad for their courses.
First honest and vulnerable podcast I’ve heard from Meg! Felt like she put aside the big and loud remarks and actually let herself be real. If this continues, the podcast will be awesome!
Thanks for returning to your podcast. I’ve really enjoyed listening to your older podcast episodes. Your podcast motivates me to keep taking photos of my family. Thank-you.
This podcast is so fun to listen to. I drive quite a bit and love listening while I’m in my car. It feels like you’re sitting right there with them. I also love hearing about the different photographers and how they got started and their lives in their part of the country.
