Brilliant podcast! Loved it.
Very brief, only three episodes, but I think that's about right given the evidence, the narrative and what we know about John Reynold's death.
Felt a little lacking, maybe a little detached from the humanity of the story.
The only knowledge I have of this case is from this
Stuff NZ podcast, Heavy Metal. It isn’t bad, nor does it quite manage to hit the bar one would expect from Stuff. Three brief episodes felt about right, but I also felt a bit off about the perception of the case and those involved as a murder mystery or something rather than actual human beings who had suffered a great deal. I had quite enjoyed this podcast. A little shorter than Gone Fishing, and less conclusion, but nonetheless, great effort in reporting.
