I have been a listener for some time now, I discovered Matt’s podcast back when it was the Heart to heart walk podcast. The stories are authentic and honest, and the conversations are real. For someone who suffers with PTSD, listening to stories of others who have walked a similar path gives me courage to keep pushing on. In a way, these stories help validate my own experience, and add some perspective to my own life. Highly recommended.
Society, culture and the media seems to have perpetuated the myth of the infallible hero, who seems to have a heart of gold beneath impenetrable armour. This ego-free podcast lays bare the reality of ordinary people in extraordinary jobs, finding their voice and a safe space to speak their truth. Powerful.
An amazing insight into the first responder experience and the impact this can have. Thank you for shining a light on this hidden issue- let’s hope those with the ability to make the changes that are so deserved by our first responders are listening and are as moved and inspired by these stories as we are!
Congratulations on a cracking start
Bringing light to a dark subject and supporting a great cause !!
