  • Not relevant to real situations

I was excited when I found this podcast as a single parent. I tuned into the episode re: what to do if your teen doesn’t want to visit the other parent. None of the tips were realistic for the real world as many split families either have 1) legal agreements they have to abide by; and/or 2) one parent isn’t reasonable to let the teen make their own choices. Felt this podcast was the core of someone’s opinion and not based on actual experience. Needs more research for topics host hasn’t personall... more

  • Wish I Tuned in Earlier

Neil Brown has an excellent podcast for parents dealing with teens. The questions that listeners posed are so relevant to all. He offers sensible solutions to help both parents and teens through a difficult time to become a more loving family. I just wish I tuned in two years ago. I might have saved myself and my 17 year old a lot of heartache.

  • Amazing insights

Neil D. Brown's insights are really great and helpful, and he puts them together well in about 15 minutes. I learn so much whether the “topic” of each episode seems relevant or not. He is great at distilling the “humanity” from any topic.

The audio quality on his show makes it difficult to hear sometimes (like in the car), but the content is so great I can't really fault that!

  • Amazing podcast with real world scenarios

I was referred to this podcast by a friend that also referred me to the Parent-teen control battle book. Not the books and podcast are amazing and I wish I had learn about them much sooner. Real world scenarios discussed with excellent advice and a constructive approach methodology to discuss with the kids. Really love it and highly recommend to everyone
