  • Insightful and thought-provoking

Although I’m not very well versed in astrology, I appreciate learning from Jonathan and find this podcast so comforting, gentle, and insightful. I also really enjoyed the episode with Martha Alter Hines on the topic of whether to seek spiritual or mental health care. As a previously trained (no longer practicing) therapist, the topic is vast and important. It is one I’m currently exploring as well, so I especially appreciated that episode ❤️

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

248. The Astrology of January-April 2026 with Mara Smith (Unedited)
Q: Shall we start getting into the first third of the year?
Yes, the first third is dominated by Kazemi timing in January—with Venus leading, close Sun-Moon aspects, and Mars nearby—creating a stage for early-year themes, followed by a Neptune-Saturn shift in Aries and a consequential setup for both individual dream-work and collective restructuring.
242. Jeff Hinshaw: Travel Tarot as a Love Letter to Humanity [Inside The 10th House]
Q: What was the process like for you in terms of collaboration and location mapping for Travel Tarot?
The process was highly collaborative, involving interviews with about 30 people, selecting locations that correspond to each card, and coordinating with a large publishing team to align creative and logistical aspects.
241. How To Heal from Burnout & Live a Full-Body-Yes Life: Contemplating Venus in Aries with Verena Borell
Q: What is helpful for you when you slow down and regulate the nervous system, especially after burnout?
Verena describes setting concrete boundaries, creating positive rules (like not working on weekends), capturing inspirations in a notes app without immediately refining them, and using somatic practices to ground herself (feet grounding, noticing chest tightness) to make rest feel safe and sustainable.
239. Ask Jonathan: Dating Authentically, Satisfied Audience, Longing for More, Fear of Sharing Art, and Alone Time!
Q: I feel like I am satisfied, but my audience isn't.
Reflect on your chart placements (e.g., Venus in Sagittarius, Mars in Scorpio in the 9th) and consider embracing your role as a teacher, adding depth and curiosity to engage your audience without trying to shock them; nurture connection through thoughtful questions and community dialogue.
239. Ask Jonathan: Dating Authentically, Satisfied Audience, Longing for More, Fear of Sharing Art, and Alone Time!
Q: Hi Jonathan, for me it is to be open to dating again now that I am my true and authentic self.
Lean into the understanding that your authentic self is evolving, and dating will reflect new aspects of you; stay open, let go of trying to maintain a fixed self-image, and view each date as a chance to meet a new version of yourself.
