  • Amazing!

I had the incredible zechus to spend a Shabbos meal with Rav Ari. He truly is, through and through, a big mentch and yerei Shamayim. It’s always amazing when you meet someone and they are the same, if not even greater, than what you thought.

  • Sound equipment

Your podcast is great, but the sound quality of the interviews of your guests is sometimes impossible to understand. At that point, it too taxing to listen.

It would be worthwhile for you and for your listeners if you would upgrade your equipment.

  • Amazing clarity

Love the shiurim! Long time listener! Always coming with clear halacha sources. Never afraid to take on hot button issues! Very interesting someone would leave a negative review because he disagrees with a show. Zionism is a very gray area. At best it’s a agadditah gemarah, as clearly explained in the show with world class talmidey chachamim. Very suprised somone would be עובר the issue of לשון הרע that is אסור מדאורייתא because of his opinion in a very gray area.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

8/8/26 – Shiur 571 – A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A RAV!! – Hear things you'll never see in writing – A peek behind the curtain
Q: What is the main Tafkid of a Rov?
The guest describes the Rov's multifaceted role: teach Torah, be a Talmud Chocham, and crucially, serve as a compassionate, approachable guide who listens, mentors, and supportsBalabatim and young people.
8/1/26 – Shiur 570 – Jews in America 1776 - Jews in America 2026 - Anti Semitism In America
Q: What immediate steps should New Yorkers take to protect synagogues and Jewish institutions?
Work with local NYPD and precinct liaisons for professional security assessments, pursue grants for security upgrades, and engage community leadership to coordinate protection and reporting, while maintaining a calm, lawful approach to advocacy.
7/18/26 – Shiur 568 – The Battle Over Mixed-Gender Combat Units in the IDF
Q: Are there concrete compromises or models being proposed to balance Halacha with military necessity?
Yes, including training separation with combat integration, creating separate training bases while integrating in battle, and considering Hashmonai-style segregated battalions as an option to preserve religious soldiers while allowing some level of integration.
7/18/26 – Shiur 568 – The Battle Over Mixed-Gender Combat Units in the IDF
Q: What is driving the push to integrate women into combat units in the IDF?
A combination of legal pressure (Supreme Court directives), perceived military needs, and ongoing social equality agendas; however, the guests frame it as a challenge to Halacha and to the religious atmosphere essential for some soldiers.
7/11/26 – Shiur 567 – Extreme Sports and Halacha| How to have a successful marriage
Q: At what point does an activity become halachically dangerous rather than just risky?
The guests discuss a framework based on Ramesha and Shokhan Aruch, focusing on adil shokhan aruch, sakhanah, and chachash rokhu tuvah; if society views the activity as normal risk-taking, it may be permissible, but if the risk is clear and present or near-certain, it becomes prohibited or leads to hetter takana in some cases.
