  • Amazing!

I had the incredible zechus to spend a Shabbos meal with Rav Ari. He truly is, through and through, a big mentch and yerei Shamayim. It’s always amazing when you meet someone and they are the same, if not even greater, than what you thought.

  • Sound equipment

Your podcast is great, but the sound quality of the interviews of your guests is sometimes impossible to understand. At that point, it too taxing to listen.

It would be worthwhile for you and for your listeners if you would upgrade your equipment.

  • Amazing clarity

Love the shiurim! Long time listener! Always coming with clear halacha sources. Never afraid to take on hot button issues! Very interesting someone would leave a negative review because he disagrees with a show. Zionism is a very gray area. At best it’s a agadditah gemarah, as clearly explained in the show with world class talmidey chachamim. Very suprised somone would be עובר the issue of לשון הרע that is אסור מדאורייתא because of his opinion in a very gray area.

4/18/26 – Shiur 556 – What's new with Chodosh - Facts on the ground | Why are people so lenient about a Din in the Torah?
Q: From a practical point of view, how difficult is it to keep Yahshun today compared with Europe circa 1900?
Technological advances, better information flow, and robust kosher supervision make it much easier today to determine which products are Yaushin and which are not, though some regions still face supply-chain challenges and labeling complexities.
4/11/26 – Shiur 555 – From the Shul to the Shelter: Rabbanim in Israel Reflect on Life During Wartime
Q: How has your role as a Rav changed during the war?
Rabbis describe becoming safety coordinators and morale builders, adapting halachic guidance to shelter logistics while sustaining learning and davening.
3/28/26 – Shiur 554 – What is a Neshamah Yeseirah, and do calories really not count on Shabbos and Yom Tov? Plus, join the Headlines 30-days exercise challenges!
Q: How should listeners approach starting an exercise program after Pesach?
Meir Kaniel and Adam Ezekiel emphasize gradual, sustainable effort over perfection, two weekly workouts, and a four-week structure with progression, plus accountability via charts and WhatsApp groups.

Q: Is there a medical basis for calories not counting on Shabbos or Yontif?
Dr. Isaacs explains that there is no strong medical basis; calories are still counted, though one day of higher intake may be offset marginally by increased energy expenditure, and the concept is more about overall balance than a holiday loophole.
3/28/26 – Shiur 554 – What is a Neshamah Yeseirah, and do calories really not count on Shabbos and Yom Tov? Plus, join the Headlines 30-days exercise challenges!
Q: What is the source for the Neshama Yisera on Shabbos according to the guests?
Rabbi Gefen traces it to the Gemara and Parshas Vayikra, with different Rishonim offering metaphorical or literal interpretations about why an extra soul or spiritual uplift is felt on Shabbos, and how Havdalah with spices relates to that loss.
