3月29日投開票の東京・清瀬市長選挙で、無所属新人で元市議の #原田ひろみ さんが初当選。原田さんは #新婦人 の会員でもあります。
長年の市民運動の積み重ねが実を結びました。
地域はもちろん、全国からも喜びの声が寄せられるなか、新婦人清瀬支部の事務所を訪ねました。
市町村の首長を決める選挙では、自分の住む地域の首長がどういう考えで、何をしようとしているのか、きちんと知り投票することはとても大切です。
