  • Excellent Assessment and Discussion about U of M and MSU Football

This is podcast with thoughtful and direct assessments of the football programs, the individual games, and about players. There’s a give and take between Tony Garcia and Rainer Sabin. They don’t always agree which adds to the value of this Podcast. And it’s fun along with informative. We’re fortunate as college and Big Ten football fans to have this source of information and open assessment without covering up or glossing over challenging situations. It’s good news reporters work!

  • Unlistenable

Two highly informed guys but Rainer says "you know" about 10 times per comment. This horrible verbal tic renders this podcast unlistenable for me.

Q: After watching Dusty May's press conference, which of the true freshmen have a chance to make a significant impact and then we'll go from there as far as the transfer portal guys?
Dusty May's overview suggests several freshmen could factor in, including Brandon McCoy and Quinn Costello as potential immediate contributors, with JP Estrella and Mustafa Cham bringing high upside from the transfer side; the exact roles depend on development, health, and how the rotation is shuffled, but expectations remain high for multiple newcomers to push for minutes.
