月亮上的百草园.人类创作了众多具有丰富表现力乐器，但似乎没有一件乐器像古琴这样负载着如此丰富的文化内涵。作为中国传统文化的代表，2003年11月，古琴艺术被联合国教科文组织列入第二批“人类口述和非物质遗产代表作”名录，成为全人类共同保护、享有的乐器。中国的传统音乐大致可分为民间音乐、宫廷音乐、宗教音乐、文人音乐，其中文人音乐的代表性乐器即是古琴。古琴有着三千多年的历史，自“诗经”的时代便有了“琴瑟友之”的记载，在孔子所处的时代古琴已是十分流行的乐器，“士无故不撤琴瑟”。古琴的基本结构反映出中国古典哲学和中国人的自然观、天地观。古琴由两块面板构成，“上圆下方”暗合着中国古典哲学的“天圆地方”。典型的古琴长度为三尺六寸五分，暗合一年的365天。古琴上有十三徽象征着十二月加一个闰月。古琴有琴额、琴项、琴肩、琴身、琴尾。古琴结构整体暗合“天、地、人”三才具足。
