Most of the time, the stories are very good, and the gameplay is pretty solid, but the way things go down is often very frustrating. The GM, Ezra, has a tendency to have NPCs over-react in character to out-of-character jokes from the players, or common mistakes, like mispronouncing or misremembering a name, all of a sudden whoever they’re talking to is incredibly suspicious at hates the PCs. It’s a great podcast that I genuinely love, but in seasons 2 and 3 there tends to be some triggering topics that are expressed without any real trigger warnings, even in post production. Mainly Mistreatment of children and traumatized individuals. If you aren’t triggered by such topics, it’s a great listen. more

The quest and chaos team never disappoint. Their CoC games and DDT have been some of my best hours spent at the dmv or jury duty. Go back and listen to the 1st and 2nd season. Down darker trails is still my fav. Ezra is an inventive Keeper and has answered a couple of my questions when I asked. Great job everyone!! I do miss Amy “Abe Froman lives!!!”

Their second campaign is Down Darker Trailes a western themed campaign.
